The challenge
Strong product, zero category presence. Buyers comparing tools on r/projectmanagement and Quora never saw their name. Inbound came almost entirely from paid ads at a $340 CAC.
What we did
Mapped the 40 buyer-intent threads competitors were winning. Built authority profiles, then shipped 200 Quora answers and 240 Reddit comments/posts per month — every one a real, useful contribution. Layered in 30 SEO landing pages targeting comparison and 'best-of' keywords.
The outcome
By month 4, they were the most-mentioned tool in their category on Reddit and ranked top-3 for 18 high-intent comparison keywords. Paid spend cut by 45%.
